Bowen Island FC

This past Saturday marked a significant milestone in the short history of the Bowen Island Football Club. Just 2 seasons after being created on Bowen, the football club has had its’ first team join the official Four District League U14 Bronze 2 Soccer Division. The boy’s first game was held Saturday at the Inter River fields in North Vancouver, and the team was victorious.

Leading the Dunbar Vikings 4-0 at the half, with goals from Chris Hillhouse (3) and David Seo, the team went on to add a goals by David Seo (2nd) and Peter Blomberg, finishing the match 6-2. It was the perfect start to what will be an exciting new season for this team, and all of the other teams on the Island.
