BIFC Men's Team

In 2013, the Bowen Island Men's team began playing in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League; a very competitive league filled with ex college players and, in the premiere division, even some ex pros.  The VMSL is the only men’s league in the province that operates on a promotion and relegation system and all new teams have to start in Div. 3 and try to work their way up. It is a very good level of play.

In 2017, the team finished as North Shore Sportsmen’s league first division semi finalists in the spring/summer season, losing a heartbreaker 2-3 in mid July to eventual winners Pacific Vikings, from North Vancouver who play two divisions above them in the Vancouver Metro fall/winter league.

Head out to the BICS Turf field on Tuesday nights to see them train!
