WELCOME TO BIFC ACADEMY
BIFC is pleased to announce the return of its Soccer Academy for Spring 2019 under the guidance of Morgan Quarry. Morgan will oversee the academy and be the primary coach along with several guest coaches assisting.
Registration is now open for all players born in 2012 and earlier (older). The Academy will run from April 10th until May 17th.
Academy involves two 1.5 hour sessions per week as well as occasional 4x4 tournament play on some Saturdays (weather dependent).
All registered players will be assessed in the first week of Academy and then placed in one of three groups which are roughly based on age. Final determination will be based on where they are best suited for their development however we do not expect many adjustments.
Pele (Youngest - ie 2012s, 2011s)
Thursdays - 3:00 - 4:30
Fridays - 3:00 - 4:30
Messi (middle group (ie 2010s, 2009s)
Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:30
Fridays - 5:00 - 6:30
Zidane (oldest group (ie 2008s and older)
Mondays 5:00 - 6:30
Thursdays 5:00 - 6:30
If you are unsure of your child’s availability based on these training times please register so they can be included in Academy and assessed - if after being assessed and assigned to the appropriate group your child is unable or willing to commit then a full refund will be provided.
Cost per player: $300.00
50% discount for second, third or fourth siblings. Fifth child plays for FREE!

Morgan Quarry was one of the founders of BIFC in 2007 and served as the club’s first President for 7 years. His soccer background includes being the General Manager of the Canadian Men’s National Soccer Team for 19 years. His playing career included 20 years for the Ottawa Internationals Premier Team, the University of Ottawa, Algonquin College and of course the BIFC men’s team and numerous Bowen coed teams!. His coaching resume includes the Ottawa Internationals Women’s Premier team and the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees (national champions in 1996) as well as several BIFC league teams and Academy. He is currently a match coordinator for Concacaf.
