At Bowen Island Football Club we knew that we had to make the most of this opportunity, to act as a sounding board for what was going on, bring people together and build a lifelong love for the sport among our young players. It's fair to say that we achieved all that and more thanks to the work of our tremendous team and volunteers.

After 102 games the competition is coming to an end, but the biggest game of them all is still to come. On Sunday Argentina will play Spain hoping to be the winner of the 23rd FIFA World Cup. We've had a blast along the way, seeing our players and their families embrace a summer of soccer, but don't stop there, we have plenty more to come as we look to capitalize on this one in a lifetime experience.

We're excited to be bringing this O35s competition back for 2026 and are looking forward to making it even better. This year we'll be hosting the event across August 22nd and 23rd and hope to be even bigger than last year.
