SPRING 2023 MINI HOUSE REGISTRATION

Program: Mini House Spring 2023

Cost: $100 (U5 and U6) / $150 (U7 and U8)*

Age: U5 to U8 (turning 5 to 8 years old in 2023)
Duration: April 3 - June 4, 2023 (no practice Easter (Apr 7-10) or Victoria Day (May 22) Weekends)
Days: U5 (Saturdays) and U6 (Sundays) / U7 and U8 - 1 session after school during the week and small-sided games on Saturdays
Length: 45 minutes for U5 and U6 / 60 minutes for U7 and U8
Frequency: U5 and U6 - 1 session a week / U7 and U8 - 2 sessions a week
Number of Sessions: U5 and U6: 8 / U7 and U8: 16

*Registration Includes: 

• T-shirts for newly-registered players

• Clothing for coaches

• Equipment costs per team (balls, cones and pinnies)

• BC Soccer membership fees

• Field rental

• Coaching certification/development courses

• Coaches and Managers First Aid certification

Uniform: Registration includes a BIFC T-shirt for new players. To purchase BIFC clothing please visit our online shop.

Under-5s: At least one parent and/or guardian must stay with their child for the session.

​

Covid Safety: Please read and review our safety protocols.

Refund Policy There are no refunds unless programming is forced to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions before the end of the assigned end date. If this occurs Bowen Island FC will issue a pro-rated refund less a $25.00 administration fee.

Financial Assistance: BIFC recognizes there are families in the community for whom registration fees pose a genuine financial hardship. We are an inclusive club and believe everyone should have the ability to play. If you are in need of a bursary, send an email to the Club Coordinator, all requests will be kept strictly confidential.

What To Bring: Cleats, shin guards and a water bottle. Cleats can be purchased at Macey's (North Van), Sport Chek, Canadian Tire, or the Knick Knack Nook sometimes has used cleats. We encourage players to wear shin pads under their soccer socks or track pants.

Rain or Shine: Soccer in BC means getting used to playing in wet (and sometimes cold) conditions. Please dress your child in appropriate clothing for outdoor activity. Weather can cause havoc at this age level so its very important to keep your child as warm and dry as possible. BIFC or soccer-specific clothing is encouraged for colder weather.
