Celebrating The Life of Burns Jennings

Tomorrow will be a celebration of the life of Burn Jennings. Burns was an absolutely key

figure behind the establishment and growth of our club and the facilities we are extremely lucky to be able to enjoy. He’ll always be remembered for everything that he did for us, and we’ll miss his extraordinary personality and ability to make big things happen. Our thoughts go out to his family at this time.

Without Burns Jennings, there would be no Bowen Island Football Club.

Teams will be formed on the spot, and the vibe will be relaxed and fun. We are planning on holding a 4v4 tournament just like we used to with Academy.

5–7 PM:

Private family dinner

We’ll reconvene at the pub for live music (compliments of John Stiver & friends:), good company, and hopefully a bit of dancing and laughter to close out the day—just as Burns would have wanted.
