BIFC is pleased to announce registration is now open for 2023 Fall Academy which will run on Thursdays from October 19 to December 7th. The BIFC Academy is open to ALL Youth Team players (U8-U13). The Club will hold Academy sessions for the following groups each Thursday:
Davies (U8-U9): 4:00 - 5:00pm
Sinclair (U10-U11): 5:15 - 6:15pm
Hargreaves (U12-U13): 6:15 - 7:15pm
The BIFC Academy is designed to provide extra training for those who desire it and focuses on skill development through possession-based sessions, focusing on ball mastery, 1v1 defending and attacking, evasive dribbling, shooting, shielding the ball, receiving the ball on the "back foot" as well as fitness, speed and agility work.
All players are assigned into one of the three groups based primarily on age, but also on skill, attitude, coachability and maturity. The BIFC Academy program is run by the Club Technical Director (GM@bowenfc.com) as well as Youth Team Coaches. For more information on the Academy visit here.
