Bowen Island FC begins its 13th season this weekend with its Under-12 Boys and U12 Girls teams traveling to Whistler for their first league game of the season. The weekend continues with our U6s, U7s and U8s beginning their Fall season at BICS AT Field.
This season, BIFC will feature six teams playing in the NSYSA Intra District League (U9 Boys, U9 Girls, two U10 teams, U12 Boys and U12 Girls). Home games are at the BICS AT Field
and Grass field with boys division games on Saturdays and girls on Sundays.
Our Mini House program has 80 players across our U5, U6, U7 and U8 teams. Our U5 and U6s have weekly sessions on Saturday and Sundays respectively while our U7 and U8s train on Mondays and play small-sided games Sunday mornings.
BIFC is also pleased to announce it will be continuing its rugby program with Fall Rugby under the guidance of Davin Killy.
Beginning in October, BIFC will offer Academy training sessions for our youth league team players weekly on Thursday afternoons. Academy provides additional training under TD Morgan Quarry for those looking to get some extra touches in and work on their balls skills and technical development. Our U9 and U10 players will have an opportunity to train together from 4:00 - 5:15 while U12 players (and a few alumni) will have training at 5:15 - 6:30.
Our popular Adult Recreational League and 5-A-Side leagues will resume with a Fall season beginning on September 20th.
